Property information we show

DistressMap shows information about real estate: addresses, parcel numbers, assessed values, property characteristics, and owner names and mailing addresses. It comes from public records, such as county property appraisers and the Florida Department of Revenue, and from licensed property data providers. Owner names and mailing addresses appear only to signed-in users.

Removing a property

Owners and residents can ask us to hide a property at any time, for free, through our removal page. We honor these requests whether or not the information is also public elsewhere.

Information about you, the visitor

We don't sell your email or personal information. We use service providers to run DistressMap (hosting, security and delivery through Cloudflare, servers through Hetzner, sign-in emails through Resend, and payments through Stripe once paid plans launch). When a paid user asks for an owner's phone and email, we send that property's owner name and address to our contact-data provider (currently Apify) to look them up. They process data only on our behalf.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from emails at any time. To make a request, email support@distressmap.com from the address on your account. To hide a property, use the removal page.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also notify people on our email list.
